Hello, I have recently been made aware that you are seeking a full time nanny.
I am very interested in finding out more about what you require and I would love to tell you abit about myself.
Although I may be younger than other candidates, I have had just as many years of experience. I do not have any children myself but for the past five years I have had to step up and care for young ones close to me. This includes, newborns to children.
I have a big passion for cooking and worked in catering as a chef for the past couple of years in such places as the midland. So cooking for the family would not be a task but a delight.
As the children I care for are getting older, I realise that I really want a career in childcare. I will be starting a nursing and midwifery course in September. This is part time (2 days a week) so this would not interrupt working full time.
As I'm sure you know, not feeling understood can be a great frustration to children. As I am a younger candidate I feel that I will be able to relate to them more whilst still being a good role model.
Another thing I wanted to address is that I'm sure a drivers license will be desired. I'm sure that finding the right person for a permanent role is worth more than a driving license. So if this dos go further, I would of course acquire a drivers license.
I don't as yet have any qualifications in childcare but as I'm sure you are aware, having to actually step up and look after a child is something that you can't learn in a classroom.
Your family sounds really lovely and I would love to meet up some time and have a chat.
Look forward to hearing from you, Hannah .
