Hi my name is Laura, I am 21 years old and have been looking after children for around 6 years now. I have cared for family members and also friends of the family. I have worked in nurseries and play schools and have also cared for a young autist boy. I took child care as a GCSE and then further on at college gaining me NVQ level 2 child care, I had first aid training and I also have knowledge of this from working at Medway hospital as a health care assistant. I am a very caring and gentle person. I love caring for children of all ages. I am disiplined, if a child is behaving in an inappropriate way I will use the correct form of punishment, e.g 2-3 minutes on a dining room chair or the stairs and I would then get them to explain what is was that they had done wrong and then explain why it was wrong.
