Heidi, childcare provider - OX8 Witney

Hi; my name is Heidi, I am 20 and hold a full driving licence, have my own car for use (with buisness cover). I live in a surrounding village to Witney.

I am level 3 childcare qualified, hold a clean DBS and I am Paediactric first aid and Safeguard trained.

My previous experience and other qualifications include:

Nanny- ended (end of the school summer term in July 2016). For twin 5 year old boys, before and after school; my role included supporting them getting ready for school, school drop offs/pick ups. Homework support, preparing a healthy snack, taking them to after school clubs, play based or creative activities at home, playing outside and outtings during holiday times, play dates and light house duties.

I have also looked after a now 3 year old, (9 months old at the begining of the role). Initially this was one day a week while I was at college but I continued to irreguarly look after him until current. This role includes, play and creative activities at home, visits to the local parks, libaries, baby groups. Outtings around the local area and support with lunch and potty training.

I have also gained some new born experience alongside the mother, during May time last year until April this year. For the same family above. A few days, practicing bathing, baby massarge, nappies, changing, burping, and getting to sleep.

Level 2 Health and Social care qualification- during this course I secured two nursery placements, achived student of the year and double distinction grade overall.

A one year nursery apprenticship locally, as a Nursery Nurse. Working mainly with the 3-5years ( including having two of my own key children) but gaining some experience with the babies-3 years too. This is where i gained my level 3 childcare qualification.

Lots of local babysitting for a variety of ages.

One year supporting one of my Nanny families children with their communication and language, one evening a week. Before becoming their Nanny. Due to them moving to this country and speaking mainly Spanish. I helped them to develope their English through lots of activities during this time.

I also have been looking after a 3 year old girl as a temp position since May 2016 and this has just come to an end in August 2016. This position is a mixture of sole charge and mothers help. I took her on local outtings, to a local toddler group and engage in play based activites in her home on rainy days!

My latest Nanny job was Sept 16- April 17. This ended due to not being enough hours (was only Part time). With a 2 year old girl and 5 year old boy. After school/ nursery care, 3 sessions per week.

Most recently, since April 17- mid August 17 I have been working in a mini nursery as the Babies room leader.

However I desperately wanted to return to Nannying/ Mothers Help. I have taken on a few part time Nanny jobs but I am still looking so very interested in your advert and would love to talk further.
