Danielle, childcare provider - PE11 Spalding

Iam 23 years old and I have 7 years experience in childcare. I left school with 8 A-C grades which allowed me to go straight into college and study childcare for 2 years and experienced a nursery a preschool and a primary school setting which I then went on to passing and came out with a Level 3 diploma. After leaving college to find a job in childcare unfortunaly for me there wasn't any available in my area so I decided to gain more experience and go into an apprenticeship which I then successfully completed within 8 months and then recieved my LEvel 3 NVQ in childcare. The place where I did my apprenticeship asked me to stay on and join their team as a nursery nurse in the baby room. After 2 more years I then got promoted to supervisor in the toddler room which I absolutley loved! I did this for a year and a half and then opportunity came to arise that I could then work in pre school but it ment giving up my supervisory role which was a big decision but I needed more challenge and was eger to plan and encourage activities with the older children. I'm still currently at the nursery but would love to share my experiences and ideas with other families that would need my help which everyone is very supportive with as they know my passion is always with children and watching them progress in their development.
