Morgan, childcare provider in Pilton

I am currently coming to the end of an apprenticeship that I got offered in childcare for a level 3 certificate. My apprenticeship will finish in February however I already know I have passed.

My current setting is in a nursery where I have 8 key children, I have worked with children of all ages, from babies all the way to school age and also have younger siblings which I have cared for and been bought up around since a young age, one of which is autistic so I was made to grow up faster and mature faster which has really helped in my learning. Alongside having younger siblings I have also baby sat for others from a very young age ranging from 6 months to 4 years. I am very confident when talking to parents or relaying information to a professional about a child's development.

I am smart, punctual, kind, caring and love my job. I take my work very seriously and am willing to travel for the right job. I am confident in my work and enjoy watching and encouraging children learn through their play as well as having fun and watching them progress is so rewarding. I have a very creative mind and have had experiences in thinking of activities for every aspect of a child's development. I am more than happy to go out in any weather jumping and splashing in puddles, exploring, running around etc.

I have a full clean drivers licence, confident driver, fine with pets as I have grown up around animals, I also passed my food hygiene course and a paediatric first aid course with a clean DBS check.
