I'm a 18 year old who has previously studied Health and Social in Barnsley college last year. I am DBS checked. I had a job as a care assistant in a care home and I'm looking to be a nursery nurse soon.
I've always wanted to work around the care industry.
I have plenty of experience with children I look after regularly, all different ages, personalities and differences.
I have taken my siblings, friends children out as well as staying in, my sister is interested in football, so we often play football.
I am patient which is a good effect with children. I've had to be patient because I have two young disabled siblings, also babysitting newborns and toddlers at the same time is rather challenging and you need to be patient for them.
As my sister has ADHD as well as other problems and delays within her development (she's 9) she's not much different than a toddler. I've looked after my 9, 7, 5 and 1 year old siblings all at once, as well as cleaning my house and going to the shop with them all. I've also babysat my friends challenging (ADHD) son and her newborn at the same time.

Explanation:

I love babysitting and being around children. I am trying to be a nursery nurse too, although I haven't heard back from many jobs I have applied for. I have previously worked in a care home. I am DBS checked. I have been around children most of my life. I have two young sisters age 7 and 9 who are disabled. Mentally and physically. My 9 year old sister cannot communicate (speaking), she also doesn't understand instructions, example when she's told not to do something she'll continue to do it because she doesn't understand what is being said. She will continuously eat because of her medication she's on down to epilepsy, she's autism diagnosed and she's also got ADHD. My 7 year old sister has ceberal palsy which just means she can't walk without a frame and splints, although she's in a mainstream school and is very bright and forward. I also have a 5 year old sister, a 1 year old brother and a 6 month old sister who I look after regularly. I also babysit for my friends young children which are 4, 1 and 2 months old.
