Whitney, childcare provider - SL1 Upton

My name is Whitney, I am a recent Business Economics graduate who had a passion for the next generation and their well being. Looking after children between the ages of 3 months to 6 years old specifically but any age group is fine I work well with teenagers also. I presently work in the youth department of my childhood church which has been amazing to go back to and serve. I am willing and ready to do the good old school run.

I generally enjoy looking after children. Ensuring they make the most of their childhood and are able to be as creative and free as they need to be, to be honest. I find these roles, in particular, to be extremely rewarding. As an older sister to two younger brothers, I have a vast amount of experience being responsible for them and helping to guide and lead them in whichever way possible. As well as being a reliable person in which friends, family members and community members turn to if they ever need any extra help with their children or advice. I am a very hospitable person whom children and most people feel comfortable when meeting me which is lovely.

In the past I have had previous experience within Bay Tree Nursery as well as previous teaching assistant roles at Christ church infant school for a reception class. The role consists of reading and writing classes as well as creative arts. As well as cooking and baking with children. In addition to looking after my two younger brothers. I have also worked in Beaumont summer camp with children of all ages but focused on the younger age group. Playing multiple interactive games and class-leading roles.

Overall I'm a caring and nurturing individual who enjoys looking after toddlers and children.
