Laura, childcare provider - ST4 Stoke-on-trent

I am currently in a managerial role within children's centres. I work in close partnership with parents to ensure all individual needs are met at a high quality. I have previously worked in private day nurseries, schools, before and after school clubs and services within children's centres in the 15 years I have worked with children. I have a vast knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and documented progress and development made by all children I have worked with. Throughout my career in childcare I have supported children with SEND of different ages in various settings. I am enthusiastic to train and strive to continuously self develop in a number of different ways. As a working parent I know how important it is to be involved and included in every step of your child's experiences and development. Therfore, I would be keen to share, in detail, any time I have spent with children through pictures, observation and vocally at the end of each day. This would all take place whilst abiding by safeguarding regulations to keep children and families privacy and to keep them safe. I have a number of training certificates including first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene and would be willing to keep these updated. I have excellent communication skills and have competent IT skills. I am enthusiastic and passionate about working with children.
