Lauren, childcare in Prudhoe

Hi!
My name is Lauren, I have been born and raised in Northumberland, and i still currently live locally, Prudhoe to be exact! But that does not restrict me from travelling to work, as i do hold a full and clean UK driving license and have part time access to a car and I'm not far from the bus route and train station.

Most of my childcare experience has been in a registered setting such as Pre-schools and Kids Clubs, luckily this has given me experience of working with children of all ages up to 13 years old.
Whilst working in one "Kids Club" i took on the responsibility of activities co-coordinator, i loved this part of the job and would think up new games and activities that would fit in with the weather, seasons, available materials and that were age appropriate.

I feel my best qualities as a child carer are that i am approachable, patient and fun-loving, but most of all being in a job that i enjoy brings out the best in me as well as the children i am working with and to see them progress is very rewarding.
