I am a Nursery Nurse I have over 2 years experience of working with children aged 3month- 5 year olds. I am currently based in the 18month- 2 year old room. However I also have experience working with children from 0-12 years old through babysitting and placements during my college course. I have a Level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education. I have been working professionally with children since January 2014 but have babysat and completed work experience in different childcare settings previous to this. I am DBS checked, paediatric first aid trained and have a full drivers licence.
Working in a busy Nursery has given me valuable experience dealing with parents, colleagues and the children themselves. My responsibilities require me to plan activities, act a key worker for specific children, perform parent/child handovers and deputise for the room leader during absences and holidays. I am responsible, hard working, helpful, enjoy meeting new people and taking on new challenges.
I am now looking to become a nanny and believe my skills and experiences support my desire to take on this new challenge.
