Emily, childcare - S3 Sheffield

Hi there, my name is Emily :)

I have worked with children in nurseries and in their homes for 5 years and have been babysitting since I was a teenager.
I am a hard working and motivated individual. This is proven by my ability to complete a full time degree whilst I also worked 40 hours per week in a childcare setting.
I thoroughly enjoy working with children, I love being a part of their development and I feel such pride and joy in knowing I am apart of helping a young child reach their potential a unique individual.
I am kind, caring and empathetic. I always strive to complete my job role to my highest ability, which is shown in the many excellent reference I have received from previous employers and parents of children I have cared for.
I enjoy building a relationship with the children I care for because I believe this is crucial in being able to help them overcome challenges they may face and reach their potential.
I have a very strong understanding of the EYFS which is important because I have the knowledge to provide a child with a stimulating environment which coincides with their development level.
I am always willing to learn and value my own growth very much when it comes to my practice. Improving my own practice can then allow me to further benefit the lives of children and young people I work with.
