I am a young female, who is 23 years old. I have a degree in Social Work, and also a BTEC in Health and Social Care. I have also gained other qualifications and certificates which I hope to expand in my career.

More importantly, I have such a passion for being around children, and I love to spend time with them and brighten their day; whether we go for a walk, go to the park or spend time creating new games and activities at home! In my career I have worked in a nursery, after school activity groups, children with disabilities support groups and fun clubs for children of all ages. I have planned and created exciting activities each week from providing sensory play/ toys for young children, to creating obstacle courses for the older ones!

In my personal life I regularly babysit for my friends and families children, mostly ages from 2-8 years, and love making it a fun experience for each of them! We go for trips into the community such as swimming, or we bake, paint or invent something new to do at home.

Although I have a fun, creative side which i feel is important when spending time with children, I am also very responsible. I understand the role of a babysitter and the responsibility this brings. I am very hard working, and understand the importance of creating a fun, stimulating safe environment.

I hope you have gained a little idea of my character and personality from this, and how much I would love to bring a little sparkle to your child's life!

I am quite open to the type of work, however I am mostly looking for part time/ full work. I have a recent DBS enhanced disclosure, and I have a full clean driving licence, so travelling would not be a problem. I am more than happy to do the school runs, help around the house and help with homework (where i can!)

I am a qualified social worker, who has extensive experience in caring for, and looking after children of all ages.

I have studied childcare, which was a key element in both my Health and Social Care, and Social Work courses. As a result, I have a very good understanding of children's physical, emotional and developmental needs.
In addition to this knowledge, I more importantly have lots of experience in caring for children, which has been gained through my employment, and my person life, over the years. I have supervised parents in caring for their children (from birth to age 16) I have facilitated child fun groups, have worked in a nursery, and have spend a substantial amount of time working 1-1 with children of various age groups.
