I have just finished university so am flexible on hours. I have completed a degree in clinical and abnormal psychology including courses on typical and a typical development in children. Human behaviour has always been an interest of mine as from an early age I was diagnosed borderline aspergers. Volunteering at Bluebell Wood hospice and Athorpe lodge has taught me the importance of communication and adapting to an individuals needs. Because of these experiences I know basic safety and hygiene regulations as well as first aid. I enjoyed my time at these places but I find myself more intend in looking after children. It is always exciting, creatively and behaviourally. I love art and am generally a creative person who always seeks out the ability to gain more knowledge. I also enjoy sports as I believe it is important to be healthy and puts you in a positive mind set. I have looked after family members aged 1-8 years old. I believe they trust me because I am warm and comforting but can also cook and clean. I am looking to either babysit for a family regular or whenever needed. I find it important to engage in the child's activities as it is better for them to learn and for their development. I look forward to hearing from you!
I would dedicate most of my time doing this job so would like suitable amounts to sustain myself.
