Hello! I'm Lucy,
I'm studying Music at college and I love children.
I went to a childminder until I started high school and I believe it has taught me a lot about how to make childcare effective and interesting.
I was recognised as gifted and talented in English, Maths, Art, and Music from an early age, and was accepted into MENSA at 14, so I can be very helpful when it comes to homework, music practice and creativity.
I also have experience as a hotel cleaner so I am happy to help with chores and general tidying.
My philosophy as a childcarer is definitely fun with boundaries. I like to keep children entertained with activities such as art, singing, reading, and play, but also making sure that discipline and kindness is a top priority.
I find all the time, through my work at the library and previous volunteering with the Rainbows, that kids have always taken very well to me, so I hope that your children will like me just as much :)
