I am a young Christian girl who is home-educated and looking for work alongside study of A-levels. Therefore I am very flexible as to times/hours. I am passionate about caring for children, sensible, gentle, loving, engaging and enthusiastic. I have had a wide range of experience caring for children over several years, including sole care of newborn babies, all the way up to 11-year-olds and including children with learning difficulties. This experience includes weekly assisting a family of 6 children for 8 months, one day a week, following the birth of their 6th baby; babysitting various families; staying for a week at a time, for a total of roughly 5 or 6 weeks, with a family of 7 children (born within 9 years!); caring for a newborn baby with sole charge. My responsibilities were largely of care of the younger children and babies, alongside helping with the school-work of older children, taking them to parks, and performing basic household chores/cooking. I have also assisted in the education of two children with learning difficulties. I believe that individual, personalized care is vital for every child, especially those with extra difficulties to combat. Also intellectual and physical stimulus is vital to help your children develop normally and healthily. I am always willing to help out with whatever needs to be done, including basic household chores and cooking. I have been told that I have a talent for figuring out what needs to be done and doing it cheerfully :) I currently volunteer with Riding for the Disabled Association, providing horse-riding opportunities for children with special needs, and I have a First aid at Work qualification.
