Olivia, childcare - SO23 Winchester

I have experience looking after children of all ages as a live-out nanny and I have also coached children from the age of 2 - 11 in multi-sports for the past 4 years. I have an adaptable range of skills in child care including sufficient knowledge on children's dietary requirements, an understanding of their emotional needs and the ability to run their day to day routine. I would eventually like to become a teacher or paediatric nurse. I have always been fond of working with children and have obtained a strong trust between the children I have looked after in the past and their parents.

Part-time Nanny
- 2013 to Present
My first long term job as a nanny began in September 2013 with two young girls aged 8 and 12 years. My job included picking them up from school, taking them to relevant afterschool clubs, cooking dinner, helping with homework and often putting the 8 year old to bed prior to their parents returning.
My second job as a nanny began in November 2013 with two young boys aged 1 and 2 years. Over the past two years my job role has been adapted as they have grown in age and therefore require different needs. I potty trained both boys and help on a weekly basis with their speech and learning skills. Their mother often leaves the country and is happy leaving them in my hands for up to 5 days at a time. I have a good bond with both the boys and their parents.

My job role included taking a group of teenagers and ensuring that each of them benefitted from the NCS experience, providing challenges, being a role model to all, and ensuring their summer is as enjoyable as it can possibly be.

Children's Sport Coach
Sport Skool - 2014 to Present
During this job I coach children from age 2 to age 11 in multi-sport skills. I teach gymnastics on a regular basis and also provide activities over summer and half terms.
