Shannon, childcare - SP10 Andover

My name is Shannon I am 24 years old, living in Andover. I am a mature, responsible, reliable and cheerful person with excellent childcare and interpersonal skills. I have a QCF level 3 children & young people's work force qualification and extensive experience working with children of all ages, including disabled, autism and challenging behaviour. I simply love children, love caring for them and find them fascinating, and I am seeking nanny work to continue doing what I love and broadening my experience.
Whilst attending college I worked in various child care settings such as pre schools, nurserys and infant school. Once I had completed my college course in 2009 I went on to work in a care home working on a neurological unit. Working in care is something I had always wanted to do although this job was with adults. In 2013 I began working at a residential school for young people aged 9-19 who had a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome and other associated difficulties. In 2014 I moved on from here and began working in a residential therapeutic children's home, i quickly progressed within this role going from a support worker to a senior support worker within a few months. I have recently been promoted again to deputy manager which has expanded my experience. Within this role I work with young people aged 11-18 with educational and behavioural difficulties and mental health problems.
