Lizzie, childcare - SS1 Southend-on-sea

Hi my name is Lizzie and I am looking for a job in child care. I am currently in college and have finished my first year. I am studying health and social care at level 3 and am enjoying it as I would like to progress onto university to then study nursing, this will then lead onto a career in nursing. I would like to be a nurse as I think it is similar to childcare and is rewarding as I am helping an individual to grow and get better.
I love working with children as I get to watch them grow into the person they will be and to try and help them along the way. The qualities I have to offer when caring for children will be ensuring they are healthy, both with exercise and healthy food. And I would also ensuring that each day is packed with exciting activities and the child/children will never get bored. I have experience in carrying out the routines I’m both mornings and nights, this is when I would bath the children and dress them and get them ready for the day ahead. I would also make the children all three main meals and provide them with a healthy snack. The children I cared for would usually have an activity to take part in in the mornings and these could be attending a sing along group or a arts and crafts group or attending a play centre for them to socialise with other children their ages.
