Lauren, childcare - SS8 Canvey island

Hi my name is Lauren and I have worked in the childcare industry since 2008 when I left school. I have worked in 2 nurserys and I have worked alongside a childminder as her Assisstant. Working with a childminder has given me opportunities to be in sole charge of the children. I have recently registered with ofsted to be a nanny and have been working as a nanny for the past 5 months. I have an NVQ level 2 in childcare and development. I hold a paediatric first aid certificate and an up to date DBS which is registered on the update service. I have had experience with all ages and have potty trained children. I can prepare and cook healthy snack and meals. I love to take children on outtings and set up fun activities for them to participate in. My friend who is a childminder often takes her children on days out to the park, farm or beach and I regularly join her with the children I have looked after.
