Caroline, childcare in Sunderland

Hello, my name is Caroline and I am originally from London. but have lived in the North East for nearly 15 years. I am educated and have a BA (Hons) Degree and have worked in various industry sectors both in London, Kent and in the North East. I choose to become a full-time mother to my child, but now my son is older, I have more time free to pursue a career once again, and so becoming a babysitter or nanny would be an ideal choice which would fit around my home life and own childcare commitments.

I am an experienced mother myself and have a 10 year old son and therefore I am able to offer babysitting, part-time or maybe full-time childcare services. I have over 11 years of childcare experience and proficiency within a family environment. Whilst in London I taught English language and grammar to two Chinese children aged 10 and 12 years respectfully. Their parents were research doctors at the Medical School were I worked as a Personal Assistant for a Professor of Anatomy for 5 years.

In addition to my experience of being a parent to my own child, I am a trustworthy, reliable, genuine, warm hearted kind person, who can be relied upon completely when being entrusted with the care and wellbeing of children.

I am motivated to help children become happy, healthy and well-behaved, and skilled in creating schedules, following commitments and maintaining routines. I am able to listen carefully and follow directions well.

I have a passion for encouraging a love of exploration, creativity and learning in every child. Especially planning, designing and making projects for fun, interactive and educational purposes. I actively like to engage with children particularly at parks, beaches, museums, soft play, and sports complexes especially during school holidays when Keep Kids Active sporting activity fun camps are organised. I also like to demonstrate and actively encourage how learning to cook can be educating, delicious and fun! By learning to read recipes, research ingredients, plan, design, and cook healthy food which will positively embrace the wellbeing of nourishing children's minds together with their bodies.

I take great care and pride when overseeing and carrying out all child care, which in turn is instrumental when encouraging, stimulating, structured, educational settings and routines for children. Which will leave parents feeling self-assured and happy in the knowledge that their children are being well cared when childcare is required within a home setting.

I am ideally looking for part-time or even a full-time long term position which will accommodate and fit around my own child. I thank you for your consideration of my application.
