Gemma, childcare - TA4 Stogumber

I'm a mum of three children 2 boys age 12 and 9 and a girl aged 11
I hold a level 3 qualification in childcare learning and development and have just recently completed a work with Parents qualification.
I have been a family support worker for the last two years working with children and families ranging from the ages of 0-13 years in a variety of settings e.g. Children's centres and schools and have an understanding of complex needs, challenges parents face daily with children and supported with ensuring their children's needs are met.
Previous experience I have is that I have worked in crèches and nurseries, Have an understanding of the Early years foundation stage and the importance of play and the home environment and how this supports towards school readiness in the the early years.
Personally I have attended a variety of toddler groups in my local area with my own children.
