Hi!
I'm Lela, I'm 18 and looking to begin my career in childcare.
While I only have personal experience with children (I was a young carer for my severely autistic younger brother for over ten years) I'm eager to change that and believe babysitting would be a great starting point!
Ideally, I'd like to make this my main source of income, so I'd be looking for full-time hours. I'd be willing to travel in and around the Newport/Telford/Stafford area.
In my previous job as a nursing home care assistant, I was praised by many residents and colleagues for having a caring and attentive nature. I loved the job, but I believe I'd have more joy working with children!
Since I spent most of my childhood/teen years looking after my brother, I understand the importance of top-quality childcare and what it means to know that your child/sibling is being looked after in the best way possible, especially when they require special care.
