Kirby-leigh, childcare - TS24 Hartlepool

Hello, my name is Kirby-Leigh.

I'm a very fun and happy person, I love working with children, its what I've always wanted to do. I have a lot of experience both personal and professional, I grew up with a lot of younger cousins who I loved to play games with and help teach them things too, I also have nieces and nephews who I love to spend time with too, I enjoy helping both the older and younger ones learn and grow. I also have a great deal of babysitting experience, babysitting for many family friends, all ranging from different ages and number of children, I've had the great honor of looking after one boy from him being very young, he's now 11 and its been a pleasure to look after him and see him grow into a young man. My professional experience started in school when I went on work experience to many different places, I then went on to do an apprenticeship with 2 day nurseries, all together spanning 4 years. I also have experience working with children with learning difficulties and disabilities.

I know a lot of songs and small amount of "sing and sign" songs, which I loved singing to the children I have previously looked after, I also believe there's no greater power than the power of knowledge so reading to children is one of my favourite things to do, I love to take them on a little journey whether its through the "deep dark wood" with the Gruffalo or through the life and rebirth of The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
