Charlotte, childcare - WF17 Batley

My Name is Charlotte, 18 years old from Batley. I am currently waiting for my A2 level results having just completed my second year of ALevels at Heckmondwike Grammar School Sixth Form. Prior to this I have spent 7 years at this school completing my GCSE and AS levels.

As a kind and caring individual, I can easily adapt to new surroundings allowing me to deliver a strong focus on providing attentive, comfortable care to everyone. I have many years experience assisting dance classes at my local dance school, pupils aged 3 to 17. In development, I have now began teaching my own class. Not only has this given me experience with handling minors in a but I have the skill to lead a group of children in a controlled yet welcoming, fun and positive environment. On top of this, I have also been an auntie since the age of 5; I have always contributed to the care of my niece although being a young age myself. More advanced, I have recently become an auntie for the second time. Having my nephew, 2 years old, I have had a much more developed, more intense responsibility of care. Being old enough to look after him myself compared to my niece, I often look after him for nights and days. During all my times with children, I am firm yet lenient and entertaining to allow the balance of safety, disobedience yet providing an enjoyable experience. I know this is important for the development of children throughout their lives to develop discipline while maintaining a positive, content look on life to provide secure attachments rather than the risk of disrupted attachments.
