I am a mum to 5 children, including 3 step children, aged 13-26. I have extensive experience of working in a range of settings, specifically supporting children with learning, physical, emotional difficulties from various backgrounds, in nurseries, as a nanny and children's Prison Officer.
I have achieved qualifications in autism, dyslexia, behaviour management, manual handling, ventilation, gastrostomy feeding. I am also a Learning Mentor as well as High Level Teaching Assistant with counselling skills.
I am currently supporting a young man (20yrs) who has Muscular Dystrophy and associated health conditions 3 nights a week and occasional days.
I enjoy painting and drawing, music, film, outdoors, swimming and walking. I love animals, and have a collie and 3 cats!
I am looking for part time or fulltime work. I am a very caring mum with a can do attitude and a great sense of humour. I am also willing to do small chores.
