Laura, childcare - WR1 Worcester

I am a 19 year old student at Birmingham City University, studying Early Childhood studies. After university I would like to work in a nursery or children's centre before going on to train as a play therapist.

I will provide the essential care and opportunities that your children need to be able to grow and develop. I am a patient and calm individual who is willing to have a go at anything that I the children or parents ask of me.

Recently I spent 2 months in a day nursery, whilst there I cared for all children between 0-5 years, planning activities according to their age groups and abilities. We often took them out of the nursery setting to carry out activities in a different environment such as taking them to the local play area or the library. I loved being able to see the children playing and exploring a new setting.
I would often sing and read to the children, teaching them new songs and actions which they would enjoy.
