Rowena, childcare in Yate

I am hardworking, reliable, friendly and approachable. I work well independently and as part of a team. I am able to continue working efficiently under pressure with a smile on my face. I am a creative caring individual who is looking forward to sharing these qualities.

I had a part time job at The Green Field Club in Winterbourne, working with children aged 4-11 years. I started doing my Level 3 Qualification in Childcare through this job, however I have had to stop working at the club due to health reasons which is currently being sorted. I also have first hand experience with children aged 0-5 years. I have a nephew called Charlie who is 2 almost 3 years old. I have been in sole-charge of him many times from birth. I can change nappies, I can bath a baby, and I can dress them and also feed them. I have just become an auntie again and I help out when I am needed. My friend has also had a child who is 3 almost 4 years old. She has problems with her speech and can not read. Also my friend from college had a daughter who was 5yrs old when I met her; (she is now 14) she did not know how to read or talk properly. I helped her by reading to her and getting her to read back to me. I also helped her with her spelling and pronunciation. I find helping children very rewarding and think that will help shape a more positive future for the children themselves and create good self-esteem and confidence. 

I have a valid DBS check.

I am also going through the adoption process and any extra experience would be extremely helpful and rewarding.
