Hey guys,
My names Louise but you can call me Lou, As of June of 2017 i will be graduating from York St.John university with a degree in Children, Young People and families. My dream post graduation is to work with children. I have a strong desire to work with children, to help care for and teach the next generation. If you choose me to work as a part of your family then i'll do my best to adapt to your family routine, while getting to know your children and what they enjoy to do. I strongly believe that children should learn through play. That means there will be a lot of fun yet educational activities about if you choose me to help out with you and your family. I am also willing to help out around the house, whether this be laundry or helping out with the cooking. I must say, i love baking. In general I enjoy being creative, which in turn leads to creative and fun activities i can do with your children. I also believe that the outdoors and exercise is largely beneficial for children. When working with children i take a calm and patient and positive approach.
Therefore if you choose me then expect to receive and fun caring and responsible service from me. I don't really want to call it "work " or a service" as I would find it an absolute pleasure to work for your family.
I've always had a strong desire to work with children, this is reflected upon in my academic choices. While in secondary school i studied Childcare for three years in which i received 3 A*'s at GCSE level. In this course i learnt all the basics of caring for children, learning about child development and theories around childcare.
I then went on to study at sixth form college where i studies Health and Social care for two years in which i was awarded another 3 A*'s. This course broadened my understanding of children, the protection of children and there health and social status.
While studying at sixth form i decided i wanted to broaden my knowledge on children further, and therefore decided to go and study at York St. John university. At age 18 i left home and moved to york, where i began my course of Children, Young People, and families. Over the past three years i have gained a wider in depth, complex understanding of children, young people and families.
Fortunately each of these courses have also provided me with hands on experience, I have been able to volunteer in nurseries and schools thanks to my education. I also have personal experience of working with children as i have younger nephews and nieces that i have helped to care for, ranging from ages 0-10
With regards to describing my self on personal level..
I'm Louise aged 21, I'm from a small seaside town in North Yorkshire england. I grew up in a little village with my Mum Dad and older sister however there was always other family members about such as my grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and cousins.

I enjoy being creative especially through music and dance ( i am also partial to a bit of baking). I enjoy learning new crafts and hobbies.
