Yasmeen, childminder in Giffnock G46

My experience with children is first of all I have two beautiful daughters of my own. I now have been childminding for a year and have a lot of experience with a variety of age groups. I also help out friends who require childcare while they are working. I have been told that they are at peace of mind when they leave their children with me. They are happy to provide references if required. I have looked after my sisters children even before my own children so I have experience with children from birth. I love looking after children and watching them play. I am caring and hardworking by nature. My aim is to give a professional, reliable and quality childminding service. I will provide the children in my care with a supervised environment that is safe, warm and centered to their needs. I will be offering appropriate and varied experiences that support the development of the children in my care. I love making children happy and enjoy seeing the smiles on their faces. I personally think it’s the environment you create and how the children are cared for that’s important.

I have a very large garden which is enclosed from both entrances. It recently has had work done in it to make it safe and appealing for children.

I believe organisation is very important. I am a very organised person. I plan my day with the children well in advance taking into consideration the age groups. I make sure I have a variety of activities planned for the day involving some learning as well as lots of fun and trips to the park, library and soft play centres.

My journey through education from primary school right through to university has given me very good experience in how to use my knowledge to teach children thorough there learning years. It gives me great pleasure to be able to put my knowledge to good use to teach children aswell as care for them and make learning great fun!
