Christina, childminder in Boddam

Hello my name is Christina and I am 20 years old. I have a driving liscence and a car and have been driving since February. I have a certificate in play work and childcare. I have also done child, health and social care svq2. I have been working in a learning disability home for a year and a half and gained many knowledge and experience during my time there. I also had my college placement at a before and after school club for 30 hours there and I spent 6 months at a school for learning difficulties which I loved and helped me give me an insight to children's needs.

I have a paediatric first aid certifiate, a adult and child first aid certicate, food and hygiene cerficate, moving and handling, trained in epilepsy, trained with hoists.

I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters and I am the oldest so I have gained a lot of knowledge of most the age groups because of this. My youngest sister has just turned 4 and I look after her a lot and spend a lot of time with her; we love to paint, go out on walks, spend some time teaching her about colours and numbers and what she learns at nursery.
