Ann, childminder in Brighton BN2

Hi!
I have been an OFSTED REGISTERED CHILDMINDER for over 10 years and have good experience in caring for babies and children up to 5 years of age sometimes in groups of up to 3 children at a time.
Over the years I have completed extensive training relating to caring for children and have a level 3 certificate in childminding which is equivalent to NVQ LEVEL 3.
My other training relates to aspects of child development and behaviour, Child protection and First aid ( have to undertake every 3 years) and Nutrition for Children.
I also offer the 2 year old funded 15 hours per week and 3-5 year old funded places as I have undertaken extra training enabling me to become an accredited childminder.
I believe in continuous improvement so take part in any relevant training available to me.
The whole of my downstairs is dedicated to childminding and leads out to a well sized and secure garden.
I have various toys etc relating to differing ages and a toddler table and chairs.
When the children are with me I usually take them out and about in the morning to parks, playgroups, music sessions, sea life centre and libraries and museums.
During the afternoon when we are home they can chill out or free play etc.
We also do painting, play dough, baking, music/dancing and I have lots of role play toys such abouts small-world toys/figures. A dolls house and pretend cooker and a very big tent!
In the garden I have large equipment such as slides and trampoline.
