Stacey, childminder in Upper sundon LU5

Hello, thankyou for taking the time to read this.
I am a 50 year young ex police officer, I live in a large 3 bed house in a lovely small Village with countryside all around, with a large enclosed backgarden with swings, and a large front garden secure with tall gates. Also a lovely park for younger children with a basketball net nearby for older children, just 2 minutes walk from my home.
Me:
I left the police force working as a voluntary front line police officer in 2009, I found it extremely rewarding, by helping the less fortunate people of Hertfordshire.
I have raised 5 beautiful children of my own, 2 boys and 3 girls, all 5 of my children left school with 9+ GCSES and more so A* grades, leading them onto further education including University.
I am extremely physically fit, I believe in a healthy eating regime (but do think the odd takeaway is good too!)
I am extremely down to earth, kind, caring and considerate, having raised my own children I am of course, maternal, and because of that I understand the maternal feelings of any mother, especially the working parent, who may have certain worries or struggles having to juggle a career hence employing a babysitter/nanny to care for her child/children whilst she has to work, knowing that I have raised 5 wonderful children, including helping to deliver my grandson (who came into the world a little quicker than expected) and I hope being a mother myself, my future employer will find what I have to offer their child/children in the terms of experience, comforting to know I have the necessary experience (plus more) and maternal experience, to give 110% care to their precious child/children.
Especially as I have the hands on experience of caring for children from birth to 18. I think experience is far more important than any grade in childcare, as each and every child, is different in their own unique way, from development to personality, and more so, their individual needs whilst growing up.
I am a warm, caring person, and people, children always warm to me, as I mentioned earlier, I am down to earth, and patient, I am also a lot of fun when playing games with the children, like hide and seek, board games, arts and crafts, baking, singing, playing tag in the garden in the warmer weather, and yes I am a very young at heart 50 year old, and my nearest and dearest think that is why I haven't physically aged like an average 50 year old! Hence my incredible energy levels and zest for life.
I am experienced in gymnastics (can still do the splits!) and I have ridden horses for over 40 years, and am willing to assist in this if any children need that.
I also love all animals, and any dogs that need caring for and walking I am more than happy to do so, I enjoy walking and exploring with the children, I also think it's great exercise and you cant beat daily fresh air.
I am a non smoker and I do not drink any form of alcohol, I believe in clean health personally, but I am not a health fanatic, It's just my own personal life choice, and respect anyone that does.
I have held a clean driving licence for over 33 years now, I am a good, confident, careful driver, and I have never had an accident. I also have my own car.
I am willing to travel within reason to any job, and I am equally happy to care for your child/children in my own home.
I am available 7 days a week, including overnight (to be negotiated) and weekends.
I am looking for part time/full time work, I will consider anything.
