Daniella, childminder - LU3 Sundon park

My name is Daniella and I am currently a student studying at university with loads of time on my hands. I love children and have taken care of many before, despite only being 19 years old. I am full of energy and will never be afraid to brighten a child's day. I enjoy going outdoors and love spending time with children outside.

I have taken care of my own siblings, cousins and children of friends of the family as well as professionally taken care of others.

I have taken care of one family's four children before. These children were two sets of twins, aged 2 (although I took care of them until they turned 3 years old) and the second set of twins were aged 1.5 years old.

I would get up in the early morning from Monday to Friday to assist the children's mother with washing the older children, dressing them, brushing their teeth, hair, as well as feeding them before walking them to nursery. I'd do this every morning and then also pick them up from nursery in the evening and leave after getting them ready for bed.

I would take care of the 1.5 year old twins some days during the week by going back to the house after dropping the older twins off at nursery. I would be in charge of feeding them, clothing them, cleaning them, changing them and spending time with them while their parents were at work. I would also tidy up a little around the home and clean up basic messes made during the day as the children slept.

Spending weekends with all the children would be an every second week occurrence for me. I was able to manage my time really well and was able to learn how to handle usually stressful situations when being alone with the children. Multitasking was not uncommon and I was able to develop many other skills, such as relationship building, negotiation and safety skills.
