Marcela, childminder - NW4 Great north way

Passionate and charismatic registered childminder with nursery and nanny experience. My childcare package comes with knowledge and experience of the Montessori approach and pedagogy which is the framework of my care. I do follow the government guidelines in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the early years curriculum, which means preparing the child for school. But most importantly I do encourage children to play as this is the way they enjoy learning and sets the foundation of their education and life. I support hands on activities and experiments that shows children how things work around us. The activities and materials used for developing the child's motor and cognitive skills follow the child's interest and curiosity. Building positive relationship with parents and creating a favourable and safe environment for exploring and learning are my priorities thought the Learning Journey of the child.
