About Fiona

I grew up in Wimbledon, just up the road from the tennis courts.

My mother was a childminder during my school years.

Childminding has always been something I wanted to do, but I didn’t have the support to venture into it.

All my previous jobs have been in the retail trade in one form or another.

The birth of my second child, Maisie, and a very supportive partner, Robin, has meant that I/we can now open our home and look after other children as well as our own.

I have a son who is 13 years old, who is currently highly active within the Sea Cadets.

He is also interested in studying Law after his GCSE’s.

Maisie and I enjoy dancing and singing around the house, she is picking up all my old moves!

But she still loves her quiet times and relaxing with her baby massages and using our new reading garden.

About Robin

I was born and bought up in London and attended a very unusual boarding school in Suffolk.

I have a degree in graphic design and spent 4 years at Art College getting it.

I spent over 30 years in the advertising / marketing industry.

I have lectured at colleges and to my clients about what I did and how I did it.

I have a fair knowledge of a lot of things and I love to learn more and love to pass that on.

I have 3 grown children and 1 mid teenager who lives with her mother.

About the two of us

We love being together, so to now go into business with each other is sheer joy.

We have no secret to the way we get on, it just happens.

We have worked together previously and we worked really well, we almost know what the other is thinking.

Although there is an age difference, to know us, you find that we both have similar tastes and likes in very many areas.

We are funny, or at least we try to be…..depending on your sense of humour…..sometimes very dry.

We always seem to have a conversation on the go, be it about a TV program or the world news.

We have an on-going caravan project which we hope to kit out and use when we can. This is something we have talked about doing for years.

Childminding is something we discussed as an alternative future, the year before our daughter was born. After she was born we decided it was the way we wanted to go with our lives.

We enjoy going to Tots Groups and joining in all the games and singing! As does Maisie
