My name is Diana and I’m a devoted, caring reliable nanny with almost 11 years experience in childcare (six of them as an early years teacher in Portugal and five of them here, in the UK as a nanny). I'm absolutely passionate about children. There’s something about the little ones that makes me want to be a better “grown up”! I am highly responsible, methodical and organised in daily routines, giving children a high sense of structure and consistency. I am strict when I need to be strict, but I'm also very kind, playful, sweet and caring, both as a teacher and as a nanny. This level of consistency provides children with clear rules and guidelines that promote positive behaviour patterns, respect and self-control. Therefore, I'm extremely motivated to help children becoming happier and providing them the best educational activities that promote their adequate development and prepares them for the challenges ahead. With a university degree in Early Childhood Education and years of experience working in schools and family houses, I always seek to stimulate children’s skills and habilities, regarding their cognitive, social and physical development.
