Happy Place Childminders! We are a mother, daughter team who value exceptional childcare above all else. We are fully Ofsted registered and have 17 years combined experience in childcare.

We love having loads of fun, getting creative and exploring the outdoors!

We can offer an affordable, home from home experience that is tailored to your child's individual wants and needs, whilst encouraging consistent development of skills and confidence. We ensure children feel valued, nurtured and most importantly happy (because we know hard it can be to be away from our mums and dads!)

With strong ties in the community, we often venture out on fun-filled day trips that engage the children whilst igniting new interests.

We provide a range of age appropriate toys and activities that your child will love. If your child loves trains then we will use this as a tool to promote new learning and development experiences, plus we will always have a train they can play with! We have a large garden where the children can explore nature in a safe environment; we are currently working on a vegetable patch and mud kitchen.

We know how hard it is to be away from your little one, which is why we use the KINDERLY APP. The parent portal on this app allows you to have instant access to your child's daily diaries, wow moments and observations throughout the day. (No more worries - You won't miss a thing and you can see just how happy your child is!)

We offer homemade healthy meals and snacks which are made with seasonal, local and organic ingredients where possible. We tailor our menu as much as possible to things your child likes. A sample menu is available on request.

Stef: I have always had a strong passion for childcare and believe nurture, encouragement and fun are key in ensuring little ones always feel happy, healthy and safe.

With a Level 3 qualification in Home Based Childcare I know how to support children in reaching their key learning and development milestones, have in depth knowledge of the EYFS Framework and can provide a stimulating setting that combines adult and child led play.

I have vast experience teaching children from ages 0-12 in a diverse range of settings. I have previously worked on Knowsley Safari Parks education team, teaching children about animals, nature and the world we live in through engaging and fun methods. I have lead classroom, messy play, tour and outreach school sessions along with 3-5 day kids clubs.

Carole: I believe children should have the opportunity to explore their curiosities and interests, be supported in their development and be able to just be themselves (our world would be boring if everyone was the same!)

I have 14 years professional childcare experience being a registered childminder, then nursery assistant from 2004 to 2018. I have cared for my own beautiful children for the past 32 years and believe they are now valued members of our society.
