My name is Iqra and I am a dedicated and responsible 16 year old babysitter with a passion for working with children. I am a calm, caring and understanding individual with extensive babysitting experience, having cared for my siblings and neighbours' children which has strengthened my ability to handle different personalities and needs, this has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills. Additionally, I have also completed three weeks of work experience in Primary School (reception) where I gained valuable childcare and classroom management experience. I have excellent listening skills and am able to handle children's requests appropriately and with care.
Furthermore, I have also completed an online first aid course and know the basics after practicing how to deal with minor injuries and bandaging wounds on my siblings, prioritizing children's safety.
Beyond babysitting, I tutor kids in English and Maths, which has improved my teaching skills and ability to break down complex topics into simpler activities. I also love storytelling and reading books which I incorporate into my childcare approach to keep kids entertained and engaged. My hobbies consist of baking, reading books and going on walks.
