Rebecca, foreign au pair in Branston

Hello, my names Rebecca and have a passion for helping children thrive. Since leaving school at the age of 16 I have been in the child care sector and feel as though it is my calling in life. I went onto university in which I am still currently studying my BA in child and youth studies. This particular course has allowed me to gain a wide range of experience with most age groups (two years in nursery and two in a primary school setting) and it has given me a plethora of vital knowledge. I currently have a weekend job working in a crèche with children aged 4 weeks to 5 with the added 'top bananas club' in which the age range changes to 5-11. I am also due to begin my 3 weeks of summer club within this job role in which I will take lead and is something I'm very excited about. My mother has also been in childcare since I was young and for the past 13 years she has been a childminder within our home. This has opened my eyes to the needs of children and has been great to grow up alongside. I believe I have a lot to offer to children of any age and I can assure you any child who is within my care will be my one and only priority.
