Dear family,

After studying at Carnegie College, I have gained a HNC qualification in Early Education and Childcare, where I have developed skills in various aspects of childcare. As well as this I am extremely enthusiastic, warm-hearted and reliable and for this reason I believe that given the chance I would be an ideal candidate to provide childcare for your family.

Throughout the duration of both NC and HNC Early Education courses I have developed a mature and responsible approach to working within Early Years Settings and have developed an ability to adapt to and take charge of any tasks that I undertake or any situations that I am presented with. As well as this, throughout this time, I have also developed a keen interest in promoting children’s learning, development and welfare within all aspects of their lives.

As well as this, I have developed widespread experience working with children of various age groups while working as part of several early years teams within a number of different early years settings.

In addition to this, since becoming a fully qualified childcare practitioner I have provided supply work on a short term basis to a variety of childcare settings where my duties included supervising indoor and outdoor play areas, supporting children with toileting, carrying out basic maintenance and care of equipment, supporting the learning and development of children and preparing activity materials on a daily basis. During this time, I have provided care to children between the ages of 3 months to 5 years.
