Jacqueline, foreign au pair in Cramlington

Hi ,

I am Jacqueline I have recently finished my 3 years course studying Working with Children, Young People and Families as well as studying for my degree I undertook work as a childminder in Leeds where I was looking after two children due to my specific work ethic and approachable mannor the parents decided to keep myself on for 3 years which I quickly became part of the family .

The type of care I am looking for is babysitting and part time care aswell do not mind doing the occasional weekend or saturday night .

The qualities that I believe to be essential when working with children and families are :
Being outgoing
Listening carefully
Including children in choices which are at the level they can cope with
Being fun
Playing games
Being approachable
Setting clear boundaries

Overall I believe looking after children is an expremely important job however its definatley about ensuring the children have as much fun as possible . Which I hope I have ensured within my three years working with the parents I have worked with .

My exprience ranges from school based to nurseries I have been within the childcare sector since I was 16 aswell as attending various placements throughout my 5 years working in the Childcare Sector .
