Emily, foreign au pair - CV23 Broadwell

Hi,
I am a 22 year old university graduate living in Rugby. I recently graduated with 1st class honours in BA health and social care, including modules in safeguarding children and human growth and development and am looking to work with children. I have two younger siblings who I have looked after often as well at three cousins aged 8, 9 and 11 whom I cared for before and after school two days a week and during the holidays whilst studying at university. This involved getting them ready for school, preparing uniforms, preparing meals and taking them to any clubs and swimming lessons as well and helping with homework and playing fun games in the evening! I have also nannyed over the summer for a 4 year old boy and an 11 year old boy, for which I was the sole carer for the majority of the week. This role included collecting the 4 year old from nursery, cooking meals and also grocery shopping as well as helping tidy the house. I have also volunteered at a secondary school and a nursery previously.
I am very comfortable working with children and it is something I extremely enjoy, I can also provide references if need be.
