Lauren, foreign au pair - EH9 Edinburgh

I'm a student living in Edinburgh, I study International Business at Heriot Watt University. I am looking for full time childcare work now that university is over.

I have had many different experiences in childcare. Last summer I went to America and worked as a nanny for three months looking after a 1 year old girl. Previous to that I have worked as a babysitter/childminder for local families at home and for events such as weddings and parties. I have had experience in other childcare jobs, I travelled to Cambodia two years ago and worked as an English teacher for four months where I was involved in teaching and looking after classes of 20+ children. As well as my professional experience I have also helped out my own family as I have two twin sisters who are only aged 4, so since they were born I've always been very hands on with them.

Looking after children is something I really enjoy and would be looking for full time work over the summer months to help out with a family when schools are over. I enjoy being outdoors and would encourage children to be active and doing various activities.
