Nikita, foreign au pair : England

I am currently nannying for a beautiful family of 4 due to the mother going on maternity leave in March 2019 I am looking to meet another family who I can care for.

I am a positive, motivated and an enthusiastic individual, with over four years of experience in various child care settings. Including new borns, Montessori settings, teaching assistant positions and supporting learning in reception classes and babysitting. I am passionate about respecting and valuing children, appreciating their cultures, their families and supporting their individual abilities.
I have gained a level 2 Caring for children award and a level 3 diploma in children's learning and development. I have experience working with a wide range of SEN pupils such as: Autism, hearing impediments, speech difficulties and physical disabilities.I also have experience with performing SEN assessments for children. I have also provided literacy support for preschool children with EAL. I have some experience of performing Makaton.?
I have fostered a personal interest in Art and Design and I express high levels of creativity in the classroom, both when I'm working with children and planning activities based on their interest and when organising classroom displays. I adjust to the job at hand and can remain patient, hardworking, reliable, open minded and honest throughout. I enjoy teamwork although I also work well with minimal supervision and using my own initiative when necessary I am experienced in supporting children's growth and development whether this may be through free play or one to one supervision using my excellent knowledge and understanding of EYFS guidelines and the Montessori curriculum as I believe freedom of choice defines childhood.
