Emma, foreign au pair - G82 Dumbarton

Hello my name is Emma :), im 23 from Dumbarton. I have worked in my nursery for 7 years but i am looking to have a change of pase and get more experince working as an au pair or mothers help. I have had experience looking after children between the ages of 6 weeks and 7 years, i am up-to-date on curriculum for excellence, prebirth to three and girfec ( gettin it right for every child). I also have my first aid training, child protection, girfec, experince with children with autism and diabetes. Activities i would plan for your child would be arts and crafts such as playdough making, collage, mark making and salt dough, literacy and english activities such as reading books, learning what the author/illistrator do, what the front cover, back cover, spine of the book and the blurb are for. Maths&numeracy i would concentrate on colours, shapes, counting to 10 then back. As youre child grew i would extend the learning opportunities during play to suit their learning level.
