Deborah, foreign au pair in Highley

I have since the age of 14 have worked in a voluntary capacity with children from newborns to seventeen year olds. This has taken the form of going into both primary and secondary schools. I have also helped for 4 years at a summer camp for 8-12 year olds as a senior tent leader responsible for 7 children as well as at a creche for 1-2 year olds. I am a qualified Girlguiding brownie leader. I used to co-run a kids club in my village for over two years for children aged 7-11 years old and recently have began helping at the youth group for children up to the age of 17. I have babysit for local families and looked my niece (2) and nephew (3). I am confident cooking and have for community events in the past and worked in catering for nearly years including being an acting-chef-in-charge.

Duties of voluntary work: Nappy changes, registering, updating parents, risk assessments, planning and running activities from baking, football to water polo. Supervising and organizing trips.

I hold several DBS and have a Level 2 Food hygiene certificate and First Aid.
