Kirsty, foreign au pair - HX4 Holywell green

My name is Kirsty. I have just returned from spending a year in America as an au pair for a wonderful family. I was fully responsible for caring for infant twins while their parents worked. I also cared for their three year old brother before and after day care. I absolutley loved being a part of their family and being part of such an important part of their lives.
Prior to moving to America I was a Cub Scout leader. Jointly running a pack of 26 lively Cub Scouts. We ran a variety of activites including camping, map reading, wide games, crafts, cooking and visits to local attractions. It has been so much fun and so rewarding to facilitate young people in challenging themselves to achieve new skills and self confidence.
I have been babysitting for around 12 years for various families, including two sweet sisters now aged 10 and 13 who i began caring for before the younger girl was born.
I have experience with children from new born to early teens. I feel confident with all ages and genuinely enjoy caring for and being involved with children. I provide a healthy balance of fun, nurturing and discipline.
Being organised and intuitive are some of my strongest skills. I am comfortable taking inititive and I am calm and level headed in difficult situations.
Childcare is my passion. Being involved in nurturing children and helping them thrive is a joy.
