Sarah, foreign au pair in Aghalee

My name is Sarah , I am 18 years old. I have great experience with children of all ages as my parents are foster carers and have been for many years. I am very good with children and will give 100% of my attention. I am trustworthy, reliable, loyal, responsible and a loving person. I can do simple housework (cleaning and some cooking) when the children are asleep. I can do evenings, weekends and I am available on a short notice. I am looking for mostly babysitting or part-time care.

I have also been Access NI checked as I work with an organisation called Drake Music project that works with adults and children with physical and non-physical disabilities. I have delivered several workshops during the past year within this organisation and have worked with the Drake Music Project as an Associate Musician in training since November 2014.

For the past two years I have been attending Lisburn SERC. At the college I completed my BTEC Level 3 Music course. I was going to start University in September, but as I want to gain more experience in Music before I attend Uni I am going to be starting an HND course in Music in September 2015. For as long as I can remember I have had a deep passion for music. I play the violin, piano and ukulele.

As I love to keep fit I attend the gym 3-4 times a week, cycle and walk my dog as much as possible. I try to keep as active as I can by also playing tennis and badminton with friends for fun at the weekends.

As I have had various foster brothers and sisters in the past with their ages ranging from 6mths-17 years old I have great experience in trying to keep them occupied with a lot of different activities including drawing, painting, taking them to the park, playing the Wii, making jewellery, designing t-shirts, making posters, making music, writing songs, watching films, doing arts and crafts, bike rides, and the list goes on. I have a lot of enjoyment with looking after younger and older children and I would love to have the opportunity to work for a wide range of families.
