Alexandra, foreign au pair in Farnborough green

I'm a seventeen year old girl who may not have any professional training, but has helped care for my younger brother since he was 5, (he's now 8). I was born in Cape Town, South Africa and moved to England at the age of 2. I the moved to Canada at the age of ten and lived there for five years before moving back to the UK in December, 2012.
I'm preferably looking to care for children older than 5 as i don't have any experience caring for younger children.
My qualities as a child-carer is I am very well spoken and grammatically correct in all things I do. I am excellent at playing the flute, but I also have dabbled in learning the saxophone and the piano. I have have made sandwiches to cooking full meals for my brother and family and have a basic understanding of culinary skills. I'm very artistic as i took fine arts in college and I would often do art projects with my younger brother, we would also play board games and Lego for hours on end.
My responsibilities have included picking him up from school, making sure he's fed and isn't thirsty, making sure he actually showers and brushes his teeth and being in bed by a certain time, but above all making sure he's happy and is well-mannered. I love going for walks and as a family we would go and my brother would love finding rocks or ridiculously large sticks or biking as we watched.
As a young child i was looked after by many au pairs so I learnt from first hand experience which were good and which were bad and since I've grown up I've realized which qualities mattered most and which ones have stuck with me.
