I have over one years experience working professionally with children. I completed a modern apprenticeship in Social Services (Children and Young People). This qualification allows me to teach children aged 0-5 years. I worked mainly with children within the 3-5 age group and each day I planned new activities for them to learn whilst having fun. I also have experience working with additional support needs. People often comment on my patience with these needs and my creativity when planning sensory activities for the affected children.
I am currently an Au Pair in Belgium caring for two girls - ages 1 and 4. I am enjoying the experience so much and my "host mum" would be happy to pass on a reference. In the time I have been here I have saw the girls grow and develop a lot and I am so happy/proud to be a part of this. I will miss them a lot however look forward to new similar experiences!

Explanation:

I am currently working in Belgium and plan to return to a proper job in Scotland therefore if I am caring for children at their home I will charge £8 per hour. This is the rate of pay in my local pub where my job is reserved for me returning home. The reason I will charge a little more for babysitting is because it is often late nights and weekends however this would be negotiable depending on the circumstances!
